WoW indeed... It has a few interesting skills that could be added: Tailoring - I mean seriously, rangers have crafting to make armour, meleers have smithing while mages are left with none. Riding - Not a trained skill perse, though it does involve non-riding requirements such as a set amount of money and a combat level. Machinery - How big are they going to make the already-huge crafting skill? I know a lot of engineer-oriented items are being put in there too like the toys.

I'll get shot for this... But a riding skill came to mind. I know the only horses in Runescape are unicorns, but there's a lot of potentially-mountable creatures in the game including terrorbirds, graahks, bears, turtles, camels, goraks, dragons, spiders, scarabs and others. It has been something heavily frowned upon like the extra dragon armour coming out lately as well as deemed unfeasable first for the engine not supporting it (RSC) then for needlessness (running). Who knows... It might not just be used for travelling as cats aren't just eye candy. Knowing Jagex, they would make the skill similar to agility, in a way it takes several set routes to train and used mainly to access places easily (like a water creature used for crossing waters or a mole to dig through a caved-in tunnel. :-k

Things I've learned from Runescape: I'll never eat another sandwich in my life, Eating food heals all injuries; some better than actual medical kits, Praying actually works, You can turn any tangible object into readily-made gold coins, The best butlers are evil, It's more profitable peddling rocks for magic spells than actual bulks of gold ingots, People consider a high degree of physical prowess a sign of wealth, Guardian serpents tend to get really bored when stuck inside a dark gloomy cave with water sweeping behind your tail, You can make an enemy with everyone: Players, humans, ogres, goblins, gnomes, gnomes, elves, trolls, penguins, monkeys, demons, Mahjarrati, gods, insectoids and even four-armed obsidian-skinned warriors living inside the core of a volcano.

Most of these people are unknown, but to me they stood out from the rest when it came to growing our characters together: Blackstefox: My first Runescape friend whom we did a lot of quests together. Ganther: My real-life best friend whom I played a lot with during my golden age. Iantiger: Now local forum mod, used to be my primary rival in raising our characters quickly. Ctiger: He helped me kill boredom and actually manage to get 60 mining in two hours powermining copper in Rimmington. XD Clifford102: My first experienced friend who gave me the secrets to levelling quickly and contacts with several Runescape legends. Stuart07: The one and only person to convince me to get membership (we became members together) and have been friends since. Tezpedal2: He turned from my first apprentice after retirement into one of my closest friends in Runescape. Funny what pointing out a new player in the right direction would do in the future. Rob1ten/12ob1ten: I don't even know how we came to know each other anymore, but he has been my advisor for about two to three years.

I've been trying to get my lazy cat (by accident) back into a wily one, but out of the nearly 50 it has eaten it is still obese. Is there a faster way to get it back to normal and how long should this take or how many rats should it catch?

Where Have All the Generous People Gone too?
Sharane replied to Andrew_s_2's topic in General Discussion
I don't give away items anymore, I give advice. People tend to be ungrateful nowadays, at least they can refuse the advice. -
You can't note stackable items. This is certainly going to be interesting. Double the experience, but random runes? It seems balanced out to me.

This is going in my signature.

Lightning, for creating the first Runescape fansite. That's this one for the slow peoples. :P -
The topic's moral: Don't just look on a situation from a single perspective. What may be right to you is not to others and vice versa. These people may be/are disrupting the game but they don't have much of a choice.

I'd invest them into skills, then more money, then equipment. -
Quest that is the most useful/best rewards?
Sharane replied to hbk_hossack's topic in General Discussion
Yep, having the ability to wear magical dishwear is exciting. :P In all seriousness, with all the new armour updates the quest reward from Dragon Slayer seems obsolete... -
Quest that is the most useful/best rewards?

The Lost City - Unlocks Zanaris, Rune Mysteries - Unlocks the Runecrafting skill, Druidic Ritual - Unlocks the Herblore skill, The Grand Tree - Unlocks the Gnome Gliders, Fairy Tale Part II - Unlocks the Fairy Rings, Between a Rock... - Unlocks the biggest mine in the game, Desert Treasure - Unlocks the Ancient spellbook, An Enlightened Journey - Unlocks the Balloon transport, Tree Gnome Village - Unlocks the Spirit Trees, See the pattern? :P -
The idea of having two more Barrows Brother might lead to the idea these last ones weren't affect by the corruption of Morytania... Very interesting. :-k

Prayer works fine, but they use both range and melee. Their range is much more powerful. They hit higher than 10, but only on melee. Range is 10 max, and very fast (so you should pro range) It also seems to be magic based damage, but range based prayer... At least, even in decent range defense, they ripped me apart with range. It's not to hard, with prayer armour, pro-range and a super set. You also need the crystal chime, to damage the monsters. So basically, it's just like the fight against Dessous the vampire/Blood diamond guardian but with three thingamajics instead of a single boss?
-
What I've been told about the boss battle so far: 1: Prayer and armour don't work, 2: They hit very fast, though 10 at most, 3: They have a long ranged attack though if it's magic or ranged is unknown, 4: My friend had Paul make fun of him for losing the battle, Other than the last one, can somebody confirm these? More details would be nice.

That's a nice easter egg. :P

Any information on the three level 143 monsters described in the requirements would be appreciated.

Everything, even skills, are aimed for combat as the end result. It's inevitable in competitive online games not to have combat as the primary deciding factor.

The orange cape, to which went really well with a crown at the lower levels. :P

The Bandos general boss is quite impressive as well, but then again I'm biased towards greenskins. :-k

It's for people who have money to spend/waste. In general purposes, most just stick with the modern/regular spellbook.

People whined and complained about everything so much they start to do it about the irrelevant things.

1. If a friend from RL lent you a party hat to wear once and give back, would you take it? I was the one that lent the hat. :P 2. If an ingame friend gave you his partyhat to wear then give back, would you take it? Same as above, with another friend. 3. If a rich person you hardly knew lent you his partyhat to wear and give back, would you take it? Depends on time period and how nice they are. If this were three/four years ago I'd give it back with something else but today... 4. If you knew someones password, and knew they were rich, would you take thier stuff? Nope. 5. Would you kill a skulled person in the wilderness for a partyhat? If I had a winning chance... 6. Would you accept a duel with a much lower level that stakes all his money (say 5 mil)? They asked for it. And Finally, the big one that expect the vary the most 7. If someone died, and dropped something valuable, would you give it back. AND how valuable would it have to be for you to keep it? If it were valuable enough to make a new friend out of it, then yes I'd return the object. If they begin swearing and cussing after I tell them I got their item I'll put them on the ignore list and enjoy my newfound valuable.

Has it crossed someone's mind the account probably got stat-wiped? :-k
