Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.

Doing my first C2 solo dungeon of the day, and some fishing/woodcutting spots seem to be randomly giving me less experience than normal. (105 exp for thigat tree instead of regular 210, only 67.5 ish exp for a salve eel...)

Anyone know why?

Either a patch by jagex or someone mucked up the code (hopefully its the latter)

It seems to be spot-specific. 2 fishing spots right beside each other, one gives normal experience, one gives a fraction of the correct experience.

 

Better not be deliberate...

you have to be fast when running from the pillar to thunderous or else he uses the mage attack.

If this isn't technically DG-related, it need not be answered, but I was simply wondering, at the CLS's current SPEED, what STATS would it need to be better overall than the CR?

And I don't even mean adding DDefender or anything, rather, what would the base stats have to be changed to for it to become more usable overall while retaining its 5-block speed? What does that single block mean?

I feel like there's no better place to ask, although there may be more appropriate ones.

It totally depends on the opponent and your gear. It already IS better if you're wearing a shield and fighting Zilyana or Nex. Also keep in mind that part of the reason rapier is usually so much better is that faster weapons take better advantage of equipment bonuses, so the rapier has a MUCH bigger advantage over CLS in Bandos and a d def than in Arma and an EEKS.

You mean monday. Firday is the first of the month. Of april. If there's anything about dungeoneering, 5m says heim crabs.

You have to find the right time to dg, daytime(atleast for europeans) is for c1/c2.

 

On the note of c2's, still researching the extent of the nerf, but it seems to be around 75% of the original xp, so still a great way to do your c2's.

I use this zoomed out a bit so it'll fit half the screen in windows 7 side-by-side.

 

I mainly use it for the start of dg's where if several key doors are discovered at the start I can get a bit overwhelmed until specific paths are forged in the dungeon.

 

It's drag & drop so it's extremely fast to use.

Assuming maxed gear (slayer task, so Bandos + fire cape in Kuradal's):

 

Rapier hits 672 every 2.4 seconds. Cls hits every 3 seconds so you need to hit 25% higher than the rapier (incl accuracy, but ignoring that). Means cls needs a max of 840.

 

Current max is 730, means you need to add strength bonus to increase that by 110. That requires 36 additional strength bonus. Cls @ +156 strength ftw :D.

 

For maul, it needs to hit 50% higher or 1008, current max being 819, which needs 62 more strength bonus. Maul with 217 strength, hah.

 

Of course at Bandos god wars you'd be using spectral, Karil's top, perhaps imbued dragonstone over berserker etcetera so the longsword catches up a little, but only a little.

His siggy is Dutch, so I presume he lives in the Netherlands (GMT+1), doubt the time will be a problem ;), at least not for me. (When I want to DG the cc is pretty full, and there are usually 1-4 ranked people in there).
