That's quite some coincidence. If you think you should buy her something, then a card with either chocolates, wine or flowers is really all you can do without being oddly personal.

The other day I played wiffle ball with some friends. And it got pretty dark and we were by the river... I got a bunch of mosquito bites, which really itch and make my leg look like it has some sort of disease. :\

Damn, I hate mosquitoes. They ruin every June and July here. Plus canker worms which are just disgusting.

I was once stung by a hornet as a young kid. I still flinch on instinct when I see a flying insect. And believe me, it's a little odd to see a guy flinch when a butterfly or moth flies by. Though I can't help it, it's an involuntary response.

A series of bad encounters with wasps, fire ants, and bees has lead to a similar reaction from me as well.

A fly? -dodges violently-

I've slowly gotten better (I'd flat out run away from any flying insect back in middle school, but now I just flinch and if I know it's coming I can suppress even that), but it's still annoying and embarrassing as heck.

And amen to hatred of all biting and stinging insects. Mosquitoes being the worst in my area (yellow jackets a close second). But hey, at least there aren't any Japanese giant hornets in the USA. I'd defecate myself pretty quickly if I stumbled into a hive of those (and then likely be killed).

The only difference between Hitler and the man next door who comes home and beats his kids every day is circumstance. The intent is the same-- to harm others.

[hide=Tifers say the darndest things]

I told her there was a secret method to doing it - and there is - but my once nimble and agile fingers were unable to perform because I was under the influence.

I would laugh, not hate. I'm a male. :(

Since when was Ireland an island...? :wall:

I actually have a hobby of licking public toilet seats.

All this talk of flying insects is reminding me of one time I went to the local zoo while younger; was with a youth group and we'd just sat down for lunch at some hut and there were wasps flying all over the place. Me and a few people were sitting away cause we didn't want them landing on our food. During this, everybody was sitting swatting the wasps away so they were getting pretty peeved off with everybody so everybody packed up and we decided we'd walk on and eat later; however myself and one girl were lucky enough to be stung by the wasps, her in the arm and, luckier for me, right on the eyelid. :-|

I'm not alergic but they still removed the sting and put cream on it cause it started to swell a little bit; but since then I haven't been able to stand them at all for the fear of being stung on the eyelid again.

And just fancy telling this lil story from school a few years ago, because I was talking about my eyes :L Well I was in Tech & Design and was completing a circuit board, put in one part the right way (I think it was a transistor), and one of my friends thought it would be funny to switch the thing around the wrong way, and for some reason whenever I then turned on the circuit, it exploded into my eye...they cleaned my eye out and kept ice on it for ages and claimed it didn't cause damage to my eye, yet my eyesight in that eye is a good bit worse than my other eye :P

On a more recent note, I only realised it today, but I text my ex on friday night while I was out drinking. Alcohol is fun, isn't it?

2nd day of going off Coke and the migrains kicked in. Question, is it common to wake up 5+ times a night from dehydration? each time I down about a good 500ml water, wake up 80mins later, repeat.

How much Coke did you use to drink? Or should I- nvm...

An average of 1.2L a day. WAAAAAAY more then I should be drinking in general, probably the cause to my dehydration issue too.

So I graduated from college last week. Dang it's weird. Also, for those of you who remember me(probably not many besides maybe RPG), I never really left (as evidenced by my occasional posts), I just went back to lurking. Now that I'm out of school though, I think I'll try to make an effort to post more, though that may fail epically once I get a job.

On topic: Today I mowed the lawn and went to my cousin's high school grad party. Nothing exciting, though me and my fiance have a grad/engagement party planned for next weekend that'll hopefully be fun.

Of course I remember you man :) Congratulations on the graduation, too.

I have over 250 contact in my phone, and the way my old junk phone works I would have had to find her name in all of that [alphabetical, not TOO hard] but then select it, and then correctly select the only working number of hers within that contact card. I'm seriously impressed with my functionality considering I couldn't even open my eyes by that point in the night. But i must have...somehow. Why is she still in my phone at all? I suppose I don't have an answer for that.

Last night I she was texting me up and down again and I told her that I had work early this morning [i did] and that I'll talk to her today. I didn't.

I feel like I probably should though. Chick drives me literally insane.

Had one hell of a past few days. Left Sunday night at midnight for an 8 hour drive to San Francisco to pick up my girlfriend and other friend, then an hour back to Mountain View to wait in line all day for a free k-pop concert. Saw a lot of groups, Girls' Generation, Kara, f(x), and a bunch of others. Had pretty great seats, close enough to see the stage without a problem. Then drove back today. Needless to say, I'm exhausted.

I wonder what it is that makes you so thirsty? 500ml of water is heaps, that's kind of crazy. When I was in Germany it seems everyone did nothing but drink fizzy. My host family went through ridiculous amount of fanta and sprite.

As for my day: Woke up naturally for once today :D so school was amazing. I've recently installed an app called stay focused onto chrome so I can only be on facebook, youtube and things like that for an hour a day so I'm getting a lot more done, most notably sleeping.

My younger siblings (well, half of them, and much younger (long story)) had their last day of school for the summer today and got out after a half day. Guess who gets to watch them this summer until he gets a job? This guy. My brother is okay unless his sister is around and being herself, which is always. He can't stand her because of her behavior (she won't listen to a word you say unless she feels like it, which is almost never) and so far too often ends up yelling at her. They are 6 and 10, by the way.

I can't wait until my fiance gets back Thursday evening. She is currently with her family doing family stuff, but is headed back here on Thursday. We're living in my parents spare room while we get jobs and maybe find an apartment. At least until we get jobs, we may not get an apartment so we can save money for our wedding. Also, we only plan on being in the area for a year, so it wouldn't be too long if we just stayed with my parents. They're good people, though my sister can single-handedly drive us all insane sometimes.

500 ml isn't that much water... I usually drink about 3.5-4L a day.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
